The story of Durgamrut began in 1949, when Narayan Krishna Chavan laid the foundation for a small dairy business in the village of Sapatne, Solapur district. For three decades, this humble venture flourished locally, rooted in trust, purity, and hard work. In 1979, his son, Suresh Narayan Chavan, envisioned a broader future and transformed it into a district-wide enterprise.
Carrying forward this legacy, the third generation—Hanumant Suresh Chavan—took a bold step towards national and global markets by establishing Durgamrut Farmers Organic Agro Pvt. Ltd. (DFOA) in Pune in 2020. With a vision to connect Indian farmers to the world and bring authentic Indian food products to global consumers, Durgamrut has become a trusted name in agro and food product trading.
